SEMI RIJO
Description
The Semi Rijo is a white colored limestone, with thin grain and a fairly uniform background. It presents some small darker spots throughout its surface and it may have some slight signs of fossils. In terms of hardness, this is a soft natural stone that is mostly used on certain climates and applications. The main variations of this limestone depend on the grain´s thickness as well as abundance of darker spots and fossils.
This is the most reliable choice for a white limestone from Portugal, mostly due to its larger availability, uniformity and price.
This is a preferential limestone to be used in stonework, masonry and other detailed applications. Due to its considerable softness, this limestone is quite easy to work and manufacture. In warmer climates it is common to find it on private house masonry, cladding, diverse stonework or even garden applications.
